Landscapes & Architecture

Having grown up in India I have memories of drawing even as a three year old. I was encouraged by my teachers in school to take advanced classes in drawing and painting. After college I went into textile design, which is a big industry in India. The ancient culture of India is so colorful and rich in patterns, symbols, and shapes that you cannot escape it. Daily life you are inundated with art whether ancient or new. I have traveled extensively through various states of India and experienced individualistic styles, which I like to apply in my art.
